Upon Exchanging Contracts
1 Notify your landlord (if you have one).
2 Contact your telephone company to organise reconnection/installation.
3 Inform your utility companies where you are buying and where you will be moving.
4 Start collecting packing materials/boxes
5 Book time off work.
6 Hire a skip!

8 Arrange transit insurance (if necessary) for the move.
9 Inform appropriate people of your change of address.
10 Tell Post Office to redirect mail on date of move.
11 Organise for someone to look after any children and/or pets.

The Day of the Move
1 Disconnect any remaining appliances.
2 Have one last final check.
3 Close and lock doors and windows.
4 Check that all containers have been delivered.
